Ōra King Salmon with Basil-Thyme Citrus Vinaigrette

Here's a quick, easy and tasty recipe you'll love making over and over.


2 (6oz-8oz) Ōra King Salmon portions
1 cup fresh basil leaves
3 sprigs of fresh thyme, stems removed
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Pinch of salt and black pepper
1 cup olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. In a small blender, pulse fresh basil leaves, thyme leaves, lemon juice, lemon zest, white vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pulse until the herbs are finely minced, ensuring the sauce isn't fully emulsified. Set aside. 
  3. Lightly season Ōra King Salmon portions with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking. 
  4. Plate the baked Ōra King Salmon portions and finish with a generous drizzle of the basil and thyme vinaigrette. Enjoy!
