Sablefish with Spicy Chermoula Sauce

Sablefish with Chermoula Sauce

Serves 4


2 Sablefish fillets
2 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 pint Sweet Cherry or Grape Tomatoes, halved
1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/2 Tbsp. ground cumin
1-2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3-4 Tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl add chopped herbs, garlic, paprika, tomato paste, cumin, pepper flakes, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix and set aside.
  3. Place Sablefish in a baking dish and spread the Chermoula sauce over the fish fillets.  Add tomatoes to the baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until done.
  4. Plate and serve while warm.
