Spice Rubbed Catfish Fillet

Serves 2


2 ea. (6 oz) Catfish Fillets 
1 Tbsp. Canola Oil 
1 tsp Paprika 
2 tsp Chili Powder 
1/3 tsp Garlic Powder 
1/3 tsp Onion Powder  
1/3 tsp Dried Oregano  
1/3 tsp Dried Thyme 
1 tsp Kosher Salt 
1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper 
1 lb. Coleslaw from our Deli Case


  1. Combine paprika, chili powder, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper into a small bowl. Mix.
  2. Pat your fillets dry with a paper towel and then season both sides with your seasoning mix. Let the flavor penetrate the fish for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add canola oil, and then gently place your fish. Cook for about 3 minutes per side and then plate with a side of coleslaw or golden fries. Enjoy!
