Spicy Cajun Seafood Boil

INGREDIENTS:

Shell On Jumbo Shrimp
Black Mussels
Crab Boil Seasoning
Red Potatoes; halved
Fresh Corn; cut into 3 pieces
Smoked Sausage; cut into 1” thick pieces
Butter (can replace with margarine)
Cajun Seasoning
Cayenne Pepper
Lemon Pepper
Smoked Paprika
Lemon; cut into 6 wedge pieces
Tapatío Hot Sauce (or keep it original with Louisiana Hot Sauce!)
Garlic; coarsely chopped


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large pot of boiling water carefully add crab boil seasoning and potatoes. Cook for about 10-12 minutes and then add corn and sausage into the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

  2. Add Shrimp and Mussels to the pot of boiling potatoes, corn, and sausage. Cook for 10 minutes until shrimp is just done. Turn off the heat and then drain out all the liquid inside the pot. Set aside.

  3. Add butter, Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, paprika, hot sauce, and garlic in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer until the butter is fully melted and turn off the heat.

  4. Pour the sauce over the boiled ingredients and gently mix. Plate your dish with lemon wedges and serve hot.
