September 11, 2001, was a life-changing event. The attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 caused far-reaching pain and united us as a nation. As the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 approaches, Santa Monica Seafood would like to commemorate this occasion by contributing a portion of profits from our retail locations to a charity that benefits the victims of 9/11.

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, we encourage all our Santa Monica Seafood friends and families to shop at our Markets & Cafés. 50% of all profits made will help benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001.  This foundation also honors our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation aims to help pay off the mortgages of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty or to 9/11 related illness and leave behind young children. The goal is to ensure stability and security for these families facing a sudden, tragic loss.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds mortgage-free smart homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Each home is designed to address the unique needs of each individual.
