Red King Crab

Red King Crab is truly the “king” of the crabs – with the biggest legs and the tastiest meat!

King crab meat is low in saturated fat and is a great source of vitamin B12, phosphorus, zinc, copper, and selenium.  We love king crab legs served with a side of clarified butter, but the meat is also delicious in soups, salads, pasta dishes and more.

Ingredients:
5 lbs Red King Crab Select
6 dollops of Garlic and Herb Butter
Fresh Parsley, chopped
Lemon, cut into wedges

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add King Crab Legs. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the legs are hot and cooked through.  Remove the legs and plate with meat side up.
  2. In a small sauce pan over low heat, add garlic and herb butter dollops.  Let it fully melt and then turn off heat.  Add chopped parsley and gently mix.
  3. Spoon melted butter over each King Crab leg and finish it off by squeezing fresh lemon juice over everything.  Enjoy!
