Yellowfin Tuna is a popular member of the tuna family, sometimes called “Ahi”

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Vietnam

CHARACTERISTICS: Yellowfin Tuna, with its gorgeous red color, is often served raw or quickly seared.  After it is cooked, it loses that bright ruby red color.
